Aretha Cool  is a photographic heartfelt tribute to the remarkable final chapter in the life of Aretha Franklin. Aretha’s last ten years were captured through the lens by Matthew Jordan Smith, an American Portrait and Fashion Photographer.

I had the honor of being the Creative Director and editor of this project. We produced a limited signed and numbered edition of only 100 copies. A small print-run regular edition 264 page book was also produced. The reaction was positive and the books featured on national TV shows like The View. One copy of the limited edition was archived in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
