In 2008 EYCA wanted a new logo. So they launched a competition, with some simple rules and a €5,000 prize. It was the first and last design competition I had entered. After six months and 5,500 entries – some from well known design agencies around the world – a winning mark was chosen.
My mark.
Needless to say I was stunned and honoured. And stunned. The mark is being used to this day, and to me that feels pretty good.
